So today we’re taking a good hard look at the Multipack website and doing some serious redesign work. We’re at the funky Custard Factory offices of One Black Bear.
So far we’ve mainlined coffee. It’s too early to be thinking on a Saturday.

While at @media I chatted with my old friend, the nefarious Mr Mills, about how the best group of web professionals in the Midlands could work with Friends of Ed in a mutually beneficial way. He suggested a book giveaway of some sort and some roundtable discussion about the topics in the books. I said that was cool, but that some kind of competition or challenge might add extra spice.
I returned from London enthused and a month of so later a box of books turned up. Conspiring with the rest of the Multipack, we conceived the idea of “Pimp my HTML“. You take some drab (but heavily Microformatted) HTML and bling it up with CSS and Javascript! The coolest concepts win some prizes, so long as you can turn up to the one year Multipack anniversary meet in sunny Walsall.
Extra bonus, Jeremy Keith is helping to judge the entries.
